Appointment Policy

Attention: We are committed to serving SWFL and so we continue to accept New Clients. In order to provide quality care in a timely manner we will be updating our appointment policy. Beginning February 1st, 2023 our appointment policy will include the following changes: 


New clients: When making an appointment with our office, you will be required to pay a $78 booking and record assessment fee to secure your appointment. The deposit will be credited toward the appointment or kept as a fee if the appointment is missed. A missed appointment is when you fail to show up for an appointment or fail to cancel with at least 24-hour notice. This must be done by calling the office as we do not accept e-mail or text cancellations. If after hours- please leave a message. 


Canceled/Missed appointments for existing clients: We require a 24-hour notice for any canceled or rescheduled appointments. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24-hours prior to your appointment, you will be charged a $30 no-show fee. This also applies to missed appointments and this fee must be paid prior to any future appointments. 


If there is a second occurrence, you will be charged a $60 no-show fee and this must be paid prior to any future appointments. 


If there is a third occurrence, you will be charged a $60 no-show fee and ALL future appointments will require a deposit. 


If this continues and the fees are not paid, the client may be dismissed from Fort Myers Veterinary Hospital. 


As a courtesy, if time allows, we will place a reminder phone call to the primary number listed on the account one to three days prior to your scheduled appointment. It is still your responsibility to attend the scheduled appointment. 


Payment Options: We accept many forms of payments. To maintain our quality of care we require payment at the time services are rendered. We accept Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Care Credit.
